This patient was wearing an upper partial denture. Could not bite into apples or anything hard. Replaced the denture with a permanent fixed bridgework. Not only does it look natural, but he can eat whatever he wants and doesn't have to worry about anything breaking or coming out.

This was a very interesting case. This lady is approximately mid 60s year-old. She's been wearing an upper partial denture since she was 16 years old. She could never eat properly because the denture would move, the food would get caught underneath and so forth, I finally did a permanent fixed bridge work for her on the upper right side and left side after an in office whitening and the final results speaks for itself. Baby teeth or primary teeth. In this case, lower left second primary molar with massive decay and once again restored in composite white filling, even though it is a primary tooth I still make it look like a natural tooth. There are many reasons to save and restore primary teeth till they're ready to exfoliate or fall out at the right time. Very neglected, worn down teeth on both the upper and lower jaw. Gave back structure and function and of course aesthetics to this patient. The patient can now chew and eat and digest his food properly and also did a lot for his self-esteem.
This patient was completely asymptomatic, and as you can notice, there was a crack in between the teeth. The consequence of leaving that would've been that the tooth would've split and would've required an extraction. The subsequent photographs show the decay as a result of the crack, and then the restored tooth.
